Where is your office located?

Our office is at 88 Rubber Road, 1st Floor of Lot 536 Section 10 Kuching Town Land District, 93400 Kuching, Sarawak. We serve employers across all of Sarawak.

Which source countries do you recruit from?

It depends on the service: General workers from Indonesia; domestic helpers from Indonesia and the Philippines; Employment Pass for any nationality (we specialise in Chinese nationals); PVP/PLIK for any nationality. See approved source countries.

General Workers

How long does it take to hire a foreign worker?

The full process typically takes 3 to 6 months, depending on the sector, source country, and government processing times.

What is an AP Quota?

An AP (Approval in Principle) is a company-level approval from the Sarawak Labour Department that confirms you are authorised to employ foreign workers. Read our AP Quota guide.

What documents do I need to hire foreign workers?

Employers need SSM registration, business licence, trade licence, tenancy agreement, and other documents depending on the sector. See the full document checklist.

Domestic Helpers (Maids)

Can I hire an Indonesian or Filipino maid?

Yes, both Indonesia and the Philippines are approved source countries for domestic helpers in Sarawak. Read our Filipino helper guide.

How long does the maid placement process take?

Typically 2 to 3 months from application to arrival, depending on the source country and documentation.

What are my responsibilities as a domestic helper employer?

You must provide accommodation, food, rest days, and register your helper for PERKESO (social security). Read our full domestic helper guide.

Employment Pass

What is the minimum salary for an Employment Pass?

RM3,000/month for EP2 (mid-level) or RM5,000/month for EP1 (senior professionals). Read our EP guide.

Can a sole proprietorship sponsor an Employment Pass?

No. The sponsoring company must be a Sdn. Bhd. (private limited company) with the required minimum paid-up capital.

Do you handle EP applications for Chinese nationals?

Yes, we specialise in Employment Pass applications for China passport holders.

Professional Visit Pass (PVP / PLIK)

What is the difference between PVP and PLIK?

They are the same pass. PLIK (Pas Lawatan Ikhtisas) is the Malay term, PVP (Professional Visit Pass) is the English equivalent. Read our PVP guide.

Is there a nationality restriction for PVP/PLIK?

No. Unlike general worker permits, PVP/PLIK applications are open to any nationality.
